Saturday we headed to Starbucks first thing in the AM!!! If you go to Seattle you have to go to Starbucks. Katie has one a stone's throw from her apartment. After some oatmeal and coffee we headed back up to Katie's place to get ready for the day. First on the agenda was Pike Place Market. If you aren't familiar with Pike Place Market it is along the water front and it is an open air market with fish, veggies, flowers, clothing, jewelry, and just about anything you can imagine. The very first Starbucks ever opened is on Pike Street! Here is Katie showing us exactly where it is!
The market was extremely crowded! I have never seen it so crowded! We took some pictures and then made our way outta there!!! Again Katie took a lot of these pictures!

There are a lot of interesting characters down on Pike Place. Tourists, performers (Katie has played her guitar and done some singing here), clowns and more! We snapped some shots of some of the interesting people and things!
We even saw someone sporting Dodger Blue!

Here are some of the street performers. They were all quite good. Well, I take that back! We did listen to one act that was not good at all. These musicians were all fabulous!
This was a gospel group and Katie said they are outside Starbucks often. They had a CD for sale! I bought it! They were good!!!
Well, the crowds sort of got to us so we decide to walk back to Katie's place. We stopped for lunch at a Mexican restaurant! YUM! Then we went back to Katie's for a little siesta before the Mariners game!
