Christmas Shopping

Kristin and Justin needed to do some Christmas shopping and they left a couple precious packages with me. Layne and Lucy! Lucy headed right to the toys as soon as her parents dropped her off.

Layne got the art supplies out and created!

So this is Lucy. She was holding the top of the crayon container and kept acting like she was going to give it to me.
But as soon as I reached for it she Frisbee tossed it across the room. She was pretty pleased with herself! :-)
This is the "why can't I climb across the dining room table" look! I giggle every time I see this picture.
Layne was still creating!
From babies to...
Footballs!
Layne found my change and my Saints bank. She deposited all my change from my change container into the Saints bank.
As always it was so fun to watch the girls for a bit. They are truly precious!

Party On!

I snapped a few pictures at our school Christmas party. Like all good parties there was tons of good treats!!!
Smiling faces! So cute!
Jeremy won the prize for the ugliest Christmas sweater. I took about 6 pictures of the Jen and Jeremy but there wasn't one where Jeremy's eyes were open. I gave up!
Mandy and Jackie (with my Rams Santa hat)!
Mike, my hubby, and Cheryl!
Kate!
Jessica and Jackie (with my Saints Santa hat)! I was conflicted because the Rams and the Saints were playing on the weekend. So I took turns wearing the hats. Both teams needed to win. Turns out the Saints got the W!
We all had a great time! Thanks for hosting the party Mandy!!!

Getting Educated

Teachers get to learn new things too. A few of us from Michael Anderson headed to Wenatchee for a 2 day conference! We had lots of fun and learn a lot too. Freida was visiting with someone on the phone on our way there! We sort of had a texting frenzy texting our buddies in the other car!
We all joined up for some dinner once we got to our destination! Actually those of us in Brenda's car couldn't wait for dinner and ate earlier. We were there for moral support while the others ate.Lovely group!!!
This is what I really wanted to have while lending moral support. A picture was as close as I got to the yummy treat.
Little side trip to New York!
Found some our friends from Hallett in Wenatchee. We met for a great dinner and of course I can't remember the name of the place we ate. Great food though!
It is hard for me to sit and listen to a speaker for two days (maybe for all of us)! We are so used to being up and moving around all day. It was worth it though. There was lots of great information for us! We should all be better teachers after this conference. :-)
