Christmas 2010

Christmas Christmas! What fun it is to get the girls together with their families! We are so darn blessed! On Christmas morning we had the traditional Katie, Jackie and Mike Christmas. We looked at our socks from Santa first. Then cinnamon rolls and scrambled eggs with some coffee for a quick bite to eat before the present opening! Katie and I put baby Jesus in the manger this year. Yum Yum! Katie will be having some yummy meals in the future!
The bike was to represent the fact that Mike and I will contribute to a new bike for Katie! How about that Seahawks Santa hat!
The rest of the troops came over on the 26th of December. It was so good to have them all here. Wish Steve and Kyle and families could have been with us! Maybe next year! The first order of business for Ryland and Easton was to check out the Christmas tree and the ornaments on it!
I think Ryland found one he liked!
Checkin' out the neighborhood!
Layne arrived with the family and her cap gun!
I bought this race track a couple of years ago. It is a flimsy thing but the kids want to set it up every time they come over! A fan favorite!
Now presents!
We tried to open one at a time but that is hard with little ones. It was more like all the kids each open one at the same time!
Ski gloves for Kristin!
When Kristin told me Justin could use a Leatherman I didn't know what it was! Hehe! I got some help and he was happy with it!
We surprised Mark with a watch that was on his wish list!
Dr. Doolittle! Ryland is now Dr. Doolittle with his medical kit!
Easton got a toy that my girls had when they were little! Alphie the robot!
Gotta have some new sleds!
Lucy's fits hers perfectly!
The Lathrops gave us a nice trash can for the kitchen! We needed it for sure. The one we were using was probably 20 years old. The new one has a flip top!

Pop up tents for the boys!
All the grandkids love the tents!

All the kids got Sing a Majigs but I think the adults had more fun with them. The Sing a Majigs sing and harmonize together when you press their bellies! Katie got a Santa Sing a Majig! She cracked up. You have to see how they sing...it is funny!
Easton has a minute to himself in his tent!
Keri wasn't feeling well so Dr. Doolittle was checking her out!
Blood pressure checks out OK!
Heart is good. I think she is going to live! Whew!!! Nice work Dr. Doolittle!
Oh no! Another patient!
She looks very happy for a sick person! The doctor will work his magic!
There was enough snow to test out the sleds. We have a very steep hill in front of our house. Too steep for sledding safely. So the kids borrowed the neighbor's front yard. Lucy is getting bundled up!
Too cute!

Kristin and Lucy laughing and zooming down the hill!
1...2...3...Go Layne!
Lucy has no fear just like the rest of her family. She went down by herself!
All smiles!
The girls flew down! Layne figured out that if she shifted her body weight that the sled would turn and she wouldn't run into her mom's waiting arms. Kristin had to stop them so that they wouldn't go in the street!
Football and food time!
Easton sporting the doctor glasses!
Dr. Doolittle!
AHHHH! Sweet kids. All of them!
We had a great day! I experimented with my ice cream maker and we all had some homemade ice cream for dessert! It will be better next time because a couple of days later I discovered I didn't add all the ingredients. The half and half was still unopened in the fridge! The ice cream was good but next time it will be even better. Haha! It was so good to have everyone at our house. Love you all!
