Phoenix to Spokane

Well, Keri and Ryland arrived late Thursday night. They missed the big storm in Phoenix and were able to get out of the airport. They were about 1/2 hour late. Not bad considering last time it was 4 hours late. Ryland has changed a lot! Not his looks so much but his activities and knowledge. He know a lot of colors!!! Even pink, gold, and yellow! Ryland found our basement this time. That is where I workout and he found the Nordic Track. He was fasinated with the handles of the Nordic Track. Click on the video below to see him at work!


We must have walked down the basement stairs ten times to swing the handles of the Nordic Track. It was a whole new adventure in the basement.
Of course, between the trips downstairs there was dancing!Click on the video to see some smooth moves!


Friday night we went out to Kristin's to take some pictures of Mike and I for Christmas cards. It's nice to have a professional photographer in the family. Thanks Keri! Layne's cousins were out there and there was a lot of running and playing in the fields. Not only was there a lot of running there was some tree climbing too. Climbing trees a classic childhood activity!Sometimes when you are only three it is easier to get up the tree than it is to get down the tree and you don't know what to do. Even though Layne asked for help and was a little scared she got down by herself. "I can do it." Great words!!! Her mom was close by just in case. Katie arrived Sat. and will be here until Sunday evening. Keri and Ryland leave on Monday morning! More pics to come!
