A couple of Thursdays ago some new friends of ours invited us to their home for dinner. They actually planned a picnic in the park. Jay and Trisha are new to Spokane and we met Jay at church one Sunday. Trisha came to Spokane a bit later and now they have a nice place in Browne's Addition.
Fabulous food! As you can see we weren't the only ones having dinner in the park.

A very nice lady came by and told us no wine was allowed in the public park. She told us to just put it under the table and we did! Sneaky!
The reason so many people were at the park is there was a concert. Every Thursday a local band comes and plays music for free. Nice isn't it!
It was a very relaxing evening. Good food and getting to know new friends. We are truly blessed!
